PDC's products are used mostly in flow, level, pressure, and temperature applications and are packaged for panel, field, and surface mounting. The majority of Precision Digital's products have been approved and/or certified as compliant to UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IECEx, CE, and NEMA standards. Precision Digital has been certified to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard.
Precision Digital Product Categories

1

Digital Panel Meters
Panel meters that accept a wide variety of inputs, such as 4-20 mA, strain gauge, high voltage and current, pulse, serial Modbus®, thermocouple and RTD. Available in single and dual line configurations, with Sunbright® sunlight readable displays and extra-large LEDs. Most meters are UL and C-UL listed and feature a NEMA 4X front.

2

Loop Powered Meters
A full line of convenient, loop-powered meters which are easy to install and maintain because they get their power directly from the 4-20 mA current loop. Many of these meters feature a 1 V drop to the current loop and are certified as Intrinsically Safe, Nonincendive, and explosion-proof, for use in hazardous areas. Features include segmented bar graph representations of the process input, feet & inches level displays, wide operating temperature ranges, and displays that can be easily read in various lighting conditions, from wide angles, and from considerable distances.

3

Field Mount Indicators
A wide range of field-mounted indicators and controllers that are suitable for harsh and hazardous environments. They can be easily mounted to pipes, walls and other surfaces in your facility, inside or outdoors. These meters feature either rugged NEMA 4X safe area enclosures or FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx approved explosion-proof enclosures. Field mounted loop-powered meters can be installed in areas with limited access to additional power because they derive their power from the 4-20 mA loop. Many of these meters feature large digits and sunlight readable, wide angle displays.

4

Explosion-Proof Instruments
Explosion-proof indicators and controllers can be powered via either loop or line power and carry all the major approvals, such as FM, CSA, ATEX and IECEx. These instruments will accept a wide range of inputs, such as 4-20 mA, strain gauge, pulse, thermocouple, RTD and Modbus and can be equipped with relays, 4-20 mA outputs and serial re-transmission. They all feature displays that can be easily read in various lighting conditions, from wide angles, and from considerable distances. onitor under or over voltage conditons.

Large Character Display Meters
The PD650 is a large display, analog input process meter with flow rate/totalizer and batch control capabilities housed in a rugged, die-cast aluminum, NEMA 4X enclosure. It accepts the common process signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC and 0-10 VDC and displays these signals in engineering units on a 2.3" (58.42 mm) large, high efficiency, 4 1/2 digit LED display. The 115/230 VAC models also provide two isolated 24 V power supplies to drive both the input and output loops. Options include up to 4 relays for alarm or batch control and an isolated 4-20 mA transmitter output

6

Multi-Channel Controllers
The ConsoliDator® series is a line of easy-to-use, multi-channel controllers that accepts up to eight (8) 4-20 mA inputs, four (4) flowmeter pulse inputs, and up to eight (8) digital inputs, then displays them on a large, backlit, graphical LCD screen. While programming the meter, onscreen soft keys appropriately and clearly relabel the action of the front panel buttons making menu navigation quick and simple. In operating mode, the ConsoliDator’s main screen displays all the inputs in both numeric and bar graph format and its individual screens display detailed information about each. The ConsoliDator is suitable for all safe area monitoring and controlling applications such as flow, level, pressure, temperature and vibration. The availability of Modbus® RTU serial communications makes it ideal for SCADA applications.

7

Annunciators & Scanners
Precision Digital’s annunciators and scanners feature alarming and monitoring capabilities for all of your process variables. Annunciators accept up to 8 signals from relays, float switches, digital outputs, and many other discrete (on/off) signal sources. Scanners can accept up to 8 analog inputs and switch between them to another devices such as a digital panel meter, controller, or PLC. One of the most common application for our scanners is bearing temperature monitoring and alarming.

8 Nema 4 & Nema 4X Enclosures
Precision Digital offers a variety of rugged enclosures that provide a high degree of protection against harsh operating environments. Process meters and controllers can be mounted so that all programming and operational functions are available without opening the enclosure, or they can be mounted inside the enclosure behind a clear cover for maximum protection. Enclosures can house up to ten meters each with custom configurations available, feature rugged thermoplastic material, stainless steel, or steel, and are rated for UL NEMA 4/4X or IP66.

9 Temperature Controllers
Precision Digital's temperature controllers accept a wide range of temperature inputs and use advanced auto-tuning PID control with ramp and soak capability to keep your process temperature exactly where it needs to be without the inefficiency of typical on/off relay controllers. Relays and 4-20 mA analog outputs allow these controllers to manage heating, cooling or both, or act as limit controllers. The controllers include all common digital panel meter sizes, such as 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 DIN.

10 Monitoring Software & Accessories
Precision Digital accessories expand the usefulness of your digital panel meters and controllers. You can enhance your existing meters to meet new process challenges with our upgrade cards and DIN rail mountable expansion modules. Our panel and pipe mounting kits allow you to put your meter exactly where it needs to go. Serial communication adapters allow you to program many of our digital meters and controllers from a desktop PC and integrate them into a digital Modbus® network.
