Series 9048 Sealed Piston Pressure Switches
Rugged single-circuit sealed piston pressure switches for rapid cycling, with seven ranges to 12000 psi, NEMA 13 housing and screw-terminal electrical connections.
Barksdale Series 9048 sealed piston pressure switches provide long-life pressure control for rapid cycling at high pressure. A single SPDT snap-action switch and tamper-resistant setpoint adjustment are housed in an oil- and dust-tight NEMA 13 anodized aluminum enclosure.
- Accuracy: ±2% of adjustable range.
- Seven ranges cover increasing setpoints from 40 to 12000 psi.
- Class B switch: 10 A at 125, 250 or 480 VAC; 0.03 A at 250 VDC.
- 416-series stainless steel fitting, 440 stainless steel piston and Buna-N O-ring; EPR or Viton O-ring available.
- Standard 1/4-inch NPT female pressure connection.
- Screw terminals through a 1/2-inch NPS conduit connection.
- Operating temperature: -40 to 165°F (-40 to 74°C).
- Optional CSA certification, oxygen cleaning and factory preset. Optional approved constructions have a maximum allowable voltage of 300 VAC.
Select the range for the required increasing or decreasing setpoint and deadband. Proof pressure varies from 4500 to 20000 psi by range; it is not the adjustable setpoint limit. Confirm any factory preset and required certification with Mod-Tronic before ordering.
