9681X / 9692X Explosion Proof Compact Pressure Switches

Barksdale 9681X and 9692X compact pressure switches provide adjustable pressure control for hazardous-location industrial applications. Choose 9681X for four low-pressure ranges to 500 psi or 9692X for seven high-pressure ranges to 10000 psi. Both offer SPDT or simulated DPDT switching and an internal adjustment wheel with locking setscrews.

• Accuracy: ±2% of full scale.
• 316 stainless steel fitting; Viton diaphragm on 9681X, or Viton O-ring and Teflon backup ring on 9692X.
• Stainless steel housing: NEMA 4X, 7 and 9. Aluminum: NEMA 4, 7 and 9; requires -K mounting option.
• Standard 1/4-inch NPT female fitting; optional SAE or 1/2-inch NPT connections.
• Standard CC contacts: 11 A at 125/250 VAC, 5 A at 30 VDC. Gold contacts: 1 A at 125 VAC.
• Standard ambient: -4 to 104°F (-20 to 40°C). Low-temperature option: -40 to 149°F (-40 to 65°C), factory confirmation required.
• Proof pressure: 1000 psi for 9681X; 15000 psi for 9692X. Proof ratings are not adjustable setpoint limits.

Standard models carry catalog-listed ATEX, IECEx, UL and CSA approvals, subject to construction and nameplate. A-prefix models carry ATEX and IECEx only and are required for the low-temperature option, which has no UL/CSA approval. EPR seals have additional approval restrictions.
