AGV Series Ground Fault Relays for VFD Loads

AGV relays detect AC ground leakage on variable-frequency driven loads over a 12–398 Hz monitored-circuit frequency range. Select 30, 50 or 100 mA at the device and an adjustable 0–10 second delay. The maximum wire-bundle diameter is 0.75 in (19.1 mm).

The AGV3-SDT model uses an SPDT relay, a 120 V AC or 24 V AC/DC supply, and DEN or ENE auto-reset operation or LA latching operation. The TR3 suffix identifies the 30/50/100 mA selection. Example: AGV3-SDT-120-LA-TR3. Only current-carrying conductors pass through the window; follow the installation instructions for VFD applications.

Pass all current-carrying conductors of the monitored circuit through the sensing window. Follow the installation sheet for conductor arrangement, grounding and external trip-device wiring. The sensor provides a detection/contact signal; use it as part of a suitable protection system.
