BTS3000 electronic temperature switches combine a Class A Pt100 sensor, a four-digit red display and programmable temperature switching in a compact probe-mounted assembly. The display and electrical connection rotate through 320° for convenient installation.

Select switching outputs, analogue output or IO-Link according to the control system. Process connection, sealing, insertion length and temperature range determine the complete part number. Mating connectors are ordered separately.

cULus E302981 for output codes 1–5 only. Codes 6, 7 and 8 are not UL approved.

Configuration and installation

The online configurator offers 1/4 NPT, 7/16-20 UNF (SAE-4) and G1/4 process connections. NPT requires the no-seal code X; UNF and G connections use FKM or EPDM seals. Metric insertion lengths apply to G threads; inch insertion lengths apply to NPT and UNF. Incompatible choices are excluded.

Other connections, FFKM seals and thermowells require factory consultation through Mod-Tronic. Probes longer than 300 mm (11.8 in) must be kept out of direct flow. Shock and vibration suitability for probes longer than 100 mm depends on the application.

Approval qualification: cULus E302981 applies only to output codes 1–5. Relay code 6 and IO-Link codes 7–8 are not UL approved. Connector pin count and wiring depend on the selected output; use the matching drawing. Availability is by inquiry.
