D1X / D2X Explosion Proof Diaphragm Pressure Switches

Barksdale D1X and D2X diaphragm pressure switches combine low-pressure sensing with an explosion proof enclosure and covered terminal strip. D1X provides one SPDT circuit; D2X provides two independently adjustable SPDT circuits. H-prefix versions use compatible hermetically sealed limit switches for pressure service.

• Accuracy: ±0.5% of the adjustable range.
• Pressure ranges: 3, 18, 80 or 150 psi maximum increasing setpoints.
• Vacuum service with ranges 3SS and 18SS; hermetic switches are excluded from vacuum service.
• 303 stainless steel process fitting and 17-7 PH stainless steel diaphragm.
• Anodized and painted die-cast aluminum enclosure; NEMA 4, 7 and 9.
• Covered screw terminals; 1/2-inch NPT conduit on D1X and 3/4-inch NPT conduit on D2X.
• Standard 1/4-inch NPT female process connection; optional 1/2-inch NPT female.
• Operating temperature: -40 to 165°F (-40 to 74°C).
• Select -UL for UL/CSA hazardous-location approvals, or -EX for ATEX construction. These ordering suffixes are mutually exclusive.

Select service, limit switch and range before ordering. Standard A/H switches are rated 10 A at 125/250 VAC and 3 A at 480 VAC; optional ratings differ. Confirm deadband, factory preset and required hazardous-location certification with Mod-Tronic for the selected construction.
