Electric Motor Anti-Condensation (Space) Wire-Wound Silicone Rubber Heaters
MOD-TRONIC Anti-Condensation Motor Heaters
These motor heaters use wire-wound heating circuits laminated between thin layers of fiberglass-reinforced, high-temperature silicone rubber insulation.
By warming the motor windings, the heaters help prevent moisture buildup and condensation. When humid air contacts cool motor surfaces, moisture can collect and cause corrosion, reduce performance and contribute to premature failure. Condensation control is especially important in marine, tropical and other humid environments. The heaters also help keep motors warm for startup.
For installation, wrap the heater around the inside of the motor housing in accordance with the installation requirements. These heaters do not include a temperature controller. Use an appropriate thermostat or other temperature-control device where required, and follow the applicable electrical grounding and installation requirements.
