P1X Explosion Proof Dia-Seal Piston Pressure Switch
Explosion proof single-setpoint Dia-Seal piston switch with NEMA 7/9 enclosure and internal screw terminals.
The Barksdale P1X Dia-Seal piston pressure switch combines a single SPDT snap-action circuit with an explosion proof NEMA 7 and 9 enclosure. Its long-life design is suited to hydraulic power units, pumps, compressors and general industrial pressure control.
- Accuracy: ±2% of adjustable range.
- Confirmed configurable ranges: 1–30, 4–85 or 7–340 psi increasing setpoints; decreasing limits differ.
- Proof pressure: 2000 psi for the listed ranges.
- Standard B switch: 10 A at 125/250/480 VAC; 2 A at 600 VAC; 0.05 A at 125 VDC and 0.03 A at 250 VDC.
- Anodized aluminum enclosure and standard aluminum process fitting; stainless steel fitting optional.
- Standard Buna-N diaphragm; optional Teflon or Viton.
- Standard 1/4-inch NPT female process port; optional 1/2-inch NPT port with stainless steel fitting only.
- Internal screw terminals through a 1/2-inch NPT conduit connection.
- Operating temperature: -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C).
The current March 2026 order table confirms the B switch for ranges 30, 85 and 340. It also lists 600 and 1600 psi ranges without a corresponding confirmed switch code; contact Mod-Tronic for these ranges. The 1600 range is not UL approved and excludes Viton.
